And here we have a short skit performed by a couple of homeschool parents. The skit is called "The Stool", but seeing as they had a chair instead of a stool, the called it "The Chair."



And here is a clip from the Homeschool Choir's first practice. I didn't get the final performance on tape, or I would share that instead. Just keep in mind that we are just practicing, we still needed a lot of work!

Problem solved!

I apologize for the technical difficulties, but I believe I have the bugs worked out now. Lesson learned: Do not use SVRT (Smart Video Rendering Technology, a feature of PowerDirector that allows you not to have to re-render video if it isn't being changed...) when you want to upload to YouTube. Somehow it doesn't produce the correct bitstream or something... Whatever the reason, it works much better if you take the time and render the whole video, not just the parts that have changed... Anyway, enough technical mumbo-jumbo!
 I did re-upload my first videos now, so if you had linked to my old ones, you will have to reset your links... I am also uploading some more videos to YouTube right now, however I don't know when I will get around to posting them here. You can always just check out my YouTube channel here: http://www.youtube.com/user/ManofCourage18

Is it just me?

Dear readers,
 It appears that YouTube doesn't like the format I am uploading my videos with or something, as all of the ones I looked at have the audio screwed up, ie. not in sync, and crackling... Have you experienced this problem when watching my videos of the convention? I just want to make sure it isn't just my computer before I go and re-upload all of those videos...

The convention is over... :-(

Once again, the party is over... Oops, I meant to say convention -- although there isn't a whole lot of difference! :-) We had a very enjoyable time, both visiting with old friends and getting to know some new ones. One of the highlights of the convention was the resurfacing of the Talent Night, something that used to be done 15 years ago, but has not been done recently. I will be posting several video clips from the talent night here in the next couple of days, so be sure to check back soon! We will start out with my good friends the Bartlett Boys:
